Dr. Albert la Cock inc pursued his pre-graduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch, earning his MbChB degree in 1987. Following his internship and military service, he specialized in dermatology at the University of Pretoria, completing his MMed(dermatology) in 1994.
As a qualified dermatologist, he established a successful private practice in the East Rand of Johannesburg, combining academic and practical approaches. His expertise covered medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Additionally, he served as a director at the LCM Skin and Laser Clinic in Brooklyn, Pretoria.
In 2007, Dr. Albert la Cock inc and his family relocated to Hermanus, initially practicing part-time before transitioning to full-time dermatology in 2023 at 2 Chante Clair Avenue.
Passionate about his field, he actively participates in local and international congresses and courses.
Now based in the picturesque seaside town of Hermanus in the Western Cape, he finds inspiration in its natural beauty, including being the official home of the Southern Right Whale.
